A rescue operation was carried out on Sunday after a person fell off a cliff. The fall occurred near Panther Beach, with the person dropping between 25-30 feet onto a rock shelf. Responders were able to package the person, who was then hoisted to the bluffs by a helicopter.

The person was taken to the hospital by Stanford Life Flight. According to authorities, the person was in stable condition after the rescue.
