A man allegedly posed as a wealthy NFL player to defraud numerous women on dating apps. He claimed to play for the San Francisco 49ers. Federal prosecutors said the man, identified as 35-year-old Daejon Labrayae Love, created fake profiles to scam women, some of whom he met in person.
Love and an 18-year-old, Taylor Jamie Chan, who purported to be his financial advisor, were charged in connection with the scheme. Further details about the allegations and the charges against them are available.
