A demolition company has donated hundreds of items from a recently razed inn. The items, including beds and other furnishings, were salvaged from the historic El Rancho Inn. Buccaneer Demolition, the company responsible for the demolition, set aside the furniture to give away instead of destroying it.

The company donated roughly 487 items, including mattresses and household appliances. The demolition made way for new housing units. The company's decision to donate the items was motivated by a desire to limit landfill debris and reuse items that still have value.

Further details about the donation and the demolition project are available.
