A train control equipment problem caused BART service to be halted between two stations on Thursday morning. The affected stations were the San Francisco International Airport and Colma. This issue led to major delays for riders, specifically those on the Yellow and Red lines.

The problem occurred near South San Francisco. BART stopped running between the two stations as a result. Riders on the affected lines experienced significant disruptions to their service.
