In the East Bay, a group of puppies found abandoned in a Livermore Walmart parking lot have all been adopted. The puppies were discovered in a brushy area outside the store in July. Local advocates helped rescue the puppies and took them to the East Bay SPCA for care.

The shelter provided veterinary care to the puppies before putting them up for adoption. It is estimated that the group may have included more than one litter of puppies, given their similar appearance. Further details about the rescue and adoption of the puppies are available from the East Bay SPCA.
